Free Evaluation and Orientation Lesson

Before you decide to become a riding student at King Spur Stables, you can schedule a FREE rider evaluation and barn orientation. You can get a feel for our education philosophy, and our stable environment, at no risk to you. Simply call (208) 683-7315 for an appointment.

Private Riding Lesson Fees

All lessons, whether private or group, are 75 minutes, unless otherwise indicated. Safety helmets are required and can be purchased for $25.00, or rented for $3.00 ADDITIONAL per lesson.

Individual instruction: $30.00 per lesson

Group instruction (3 or more students): $25.00 per student per lesson

Family instruction (up to 4 immediate family members): $30.00 per 1-hour lesson

4-H instruction (enrolled 4-H members ONLY): $25.00 per hour
